"King of Wishful Thinking" (titled "The Rex of Wishful Thinking" on Chrysalis releases[1]) is a song by British popular duo Go West, written past Peter Cox, Richard Drummie and Martin Folio. Information technology was featured in the moving-picture show Pretty Woman and appeared on its soundtrack.[2] It was later on featured on Go W's third studio album, Indian Summer, in 1992. The vocal reached number three in Canada, number vi in Australia, number 8 in the U.s.a., and number xviii in the United Kingdom. At the 1991 Brit Awards the vocal was nominated for the Brit Laurels for British Video of the Twelvemonth.[3]
In 2018, thespian Paul Rudd and late-nighttime host Jimmy Fallon fabricated a shot-for-shot recreation of the music video for The Tonight Show.[4]
